Biden Hails Assad’s Fall as ‘Justice,’ Warns of Regional Risks – US President Joe Biden has defined it as an essential act of impartiality to the people of Syria following decades of brutal autocracy from Bashir Assad.

The Syrian president, in public reports and on social media, expressed provision for a new Syrian government formed by a rebellious alliance, including former Al Qaeda associate the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). He also pointed out difficulties predictable during the transition period, including the appearance of the ISIS group.

In his statement, Biden confessed to the dangers and specified that due to the ISIS group’s ongoing resurgence, if power were to be left unoccupied, they would rapidly fill it. After the group was chased out, the U.S. forces blew up more than seventy-five ISIS targets on the same so that it could not regroup.

The President also promised teamwork with other provincial nations like Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, and even Israel to maintain district security and support the recovery of war-torn Syria. Biden also hoped that the US would observe the coalition of rebels’ actions to determine whether their rule resembles the potential of moderation.

Also, there was a new hopefulness for the retrieval of lost American journalist Austin Tice, taken in Syria in 2012. The leader restated his direction’s efforts to get Tice’s release after Syria flatly denied detaining him.
