The action continues on Day 2 of the auction, which will take place at the Abadi Al Johar Arena in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, starting at 3:30 PM IST. The opening day saw 84 players being auctioned, with franchises investing INR 467.95 crore in the bidding of 72 players.

On Day 2 of the auction, the first set will be No. 13, where Player No. 85, Mayank Agarwal, will be up for bidding. The auction goes on to Set No. 17, Player No. 117, Vijayakanth Viyaskanth. After these rounds, the ‘accelerated’ auction process involving fast sequences and real focused bidding to complete teams’ squads will commence later in the day.

This year’s auction has not seen and still generates enormous hype as teams compete to buy the best players for their teams to build a more substantial base for the IPL season. The fans and analysts are waiting for Day 2, as this particular round of bidding will get hotter, and some big names are still left to bid.
