Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced a significant initiative during the Teej festival, stating that families enrolled in the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will receive gas cylinders for just ₹500.
This program is set to benefit approximately 46 lakh families with an annual income of less than ₹1.8 lakh. The announcement aims to provide relief to low-income households and enhance access to cooking gas in the state. But the question is why the price of gas cylinders increases as soon as the elections are over. Will the public be able to run their household with just Rs. 500 gas cylinders?
