The musicians wore black suits and sunglasses to pay their respects at the church located just outside of London Simon Cowell, who was a judge on the competition show The X Factor when One Direction was created, also attended with his girlfriend Liam’s former One Direction bandmates, who previously expressed their grief for the loss of the star.
In a joint statement released on October 16th, the men mourned Liam, writing in a statement released on Instagram that said, We are completely devastated by the news of Liam’s passing in time. When everyone can, there will be more to say, but for now, we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, whom we loved dearly.
They added that the memories we shared with him will be treasured forever; for now, our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and the fans who loved him alongside us; we will miss him terribly.
