Changes in LPG Cylinder Prices
Major Changes Coming into Effect from December 1: On the 1st of every month, the government typically revises the prices of LPG cylinders. This includes both commercial gas cylinders and cooking gas. A change in the goods price of LPG cylinders is anticipated for December 1. In October, gas companies increased the price of 19 kg LPG cylinders by 8%, while domestic gas cylinder prices remained unchanged.

Air Turbine Fuel (ATF) Price Revision
Alongside LPG cylinder prices, the price of air turbine fuel (ATF) is also revised by oil distribution companies on the first of the month. A price change in air fuel on December 1 could directly impact air travelers.
SBI Credit Card Rule Changes
The State Bank of India (SBI), the largest bank in the country, will implement new credit card rules starting December 1. Transactions on digital gaming platforms and merchant-related activities will no longer earn reward points. This change is detailed on the SBI Card website and could affect many card users.
New OTP Traceability Rules
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has introduced new traceability rules for commercial messages and OTPs. Initially scheduled for implementation by October 31, the deadline was extended to November 30. Starting December 1, all messages sent by telecom companies will be traceable, helping prevent phishing and spam. However, customers may experience delays in OTP delivery due to this change.
17 Days of Bank Holidays in December
The Reserve Bank of India has released the list of bank holidays for December. Banks will remain closed for 17 days, so customers are advised to complete any pending work in advance. Check the holiday list before planning a visit to the branch.
