Delhi Man Arrested for Abetment to Suicide After Air India Pilot Tragic Death in Mumbai

Delhi Man Arrested for Abetment to Suicide After Air India Pilot Tragic Death in Mumbai: As per PTI, Shishi hanged herself with a data cable late at night at her apartment in the Kanakia Rain Forest building in the Marol area. The tragic incident followed a fight with her boyfriend, Aaditya Pandit, who lived in Delhi.

Shishi Tuli’s family hails from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, and has accused Pandit of causing her death. He exerts excessive control over her life and even prevents her from eating non-vegetarian food, reported PTI, citing an official.

Her family suspects that the scene was staged to appear as a suicide and has raised concerns about possible blackmail and financial exploitation. They allege that Pandit withdrew money from Tuli’s bank account before her death.

Air India Pilot’s boyfriend had borrowed ₹65,000 from her.

Srishti Tuli’s uncle also blamed her boyfriend for extorting money and harassment. Her uncle also claimed that Shrishti had transferred around ₹65,000 to his family members during Diwali.

“We have operated to check only one month’s statement so far. Around Diwali, about ₹65,000 was transferred to his family members. I am sure that he was squeezing her. I have now asked the bank for the whole year’s statement. Maybe she had denied him money after that became the cause of her death,” NDTV quoted Shrishti Tuli’s uncle Vivek Tuli.

Shrishti was the first female flyer from Gorakhpur.

Shishi Tuli was a trailblazer, the first female pilot from Gorakhpur, a feat that earned her recognition from the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister. Her sudden demise has left her family devastated. Her last rites were performed in Gorakhpur on Wednesday, where hundreds of people gathered to pay their respects to the young aviator.
